This lot is located in Chicago.
Condition
Sturdy, well-conserved hangable condition, with linen backing and metal rings for hanging. Small repairs and rewoven areas throughout. Two larger patches at the top center. Throughout the lower half of the tapestry, there are rust-colored discolorations in the darker red or brown dyes which appear to be from something having spilled or splattered on the tapestry, causing discoloration (not recently). Colors crisp and bright overall.
